The thought of making a substantial real estate investment in a third world developing country makes you really stop and think…how big of a risk am I taking with my hard earned money… exactly who are the real estate brokers and developers behind this project? You should always ask and investigate this question when considering any real estate investment in Costa Rica.

The last thing you want to do is put your money at risk with some flaky, undercapitalized, newbie “developer” with no track record or listen to the advice of a “real estate agent” who two months ago was a surfing instructor in Maui!

So…what’s our background and track record?

We are an experienced group of American investors and real estate professionals who have been operating full time in Costa Rica real estate development since 1987.

Currently, we operate under the banner of Grupo Do It, SA which is the parent organization for our varied activities.

 These entities include the following:

• Do It Center Retail Store – the largest hardware and home furnishings store in Guanacaste. We have achieved year over year sales records each year since opening in 2002.
• Do It Commercial Center – currently under construction, this state-of-the-art development will include a bank, strip mall and a modern, high tech office building with fiber optics.
• Do It Development – our real estate investment operation which includes our newest development of 230 acres at Catalina Cove, near Flamingo. Previous projects included the successful, 175 acre Vista Estates development in Playa Panama. Concurrently, we are developing a new, beachfront boutique hotel and condominium project in the Playa Hermosa area.

Do It Foundation – this is our non-profit foundation organized to assist underprivileged children and disadvantaged Costa Ricans in need, throughout the country. At our most recent event in Liberia, we assembled and handed out a record (for us) 500 wheelchairs to people in the community.
